The Aisenstadt Youth Fund: an annual arts-accessibility program for CEGEP students from the Montreal area.
About The Aisenstadt Youth Fund:
In an effort to make cultural events more accessible, and to raise young people’s awareness of the performing arts and dance in particular, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal launched in 2010 the Aisenstadt Youth Fund.
This annual program allows public CEGEPs students from the Montreal area to attend, free of charge, performances by Les Grands Ballets.
100 pairs of tickets are being offered at the beginning of the season 2016-2017 from students that registered online. A unique opportunity to see Les Grands Ballets! To benefit from this program, each student interested must register on our website between August 22 and September 18, 2016.
The draw will take place on September 19 among registered students.
Winners will have the chance to attend one of four shows of the 2016-2017 season:
- Roméo & Juliette, choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot, Friday October 21, 2016;
- Casse-Noisette, choreographer Fernand Nault, Saturday December 10, 2016;
- Minus One, choreographer Ohad Naharin, Friday March 24, 2017;
- Falling Angels, Evening Songs, Searching for Home, choreographers Jiri Kylian & Stephan Thoss, Friday May 26, 2017.
Les Grands Ballets thank the Nussia & André Aisenstadt Foundation for supporting this program.
