1. PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS
Once your order is confirmed and your payment is completed, you will be provided with a confirmation number, on a confirmation page that will be displayed and/or in an e-mail message sent to you. You must keep the confirmation number in a safe place. If for any reason you do not receive a confirmation number, if you receive an error message, or if there is a service interruption, you are entirely responsible for contacting our Customer Service to confirm whether your order has been properly processed. You are solely responsible for any problem that may occur during the online ticket purchasing sequence. Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal cannot be held liable for any loss (monetary or otherwise) that may result from any problem occurring during a ticket purchase via this website, including, without limitation, failure of a transaction to be completed or confirmed. Orders are processed according to available seating only after a billing address and other billing information have been verified. We occasionally receive incorrect billing or credit card account information during the ticket ordering process. Such errors or imprecise information can cause delays in order processing and ticket delivery. In such a case, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal’s Customer Service may attempt to contact you, using the information obtained at the time of purchase. If Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal is unable to reach you after an initial attempt, we reserve the right to cancel any order and sell your ticket(s) to another customer.
2. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal reserves the right to modify the admission price of performances at any time. Such changes, however, will not affect the price of tickets previously purchased. When you confirm your order online, you agree to pay the full price of the ticket(s) ordered, including all applicable taxes, delivery and service charges and other fees. Transactions on the www.grandsballets.com site are managed by Moneris. Moneris complies with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS). If you have a question about information security practices at Moneris, or if you would like to report a security concern, such as suspicious e-mail requests, please contact the company directly. Moneris Solutions P.O. Box 219, Station D Toronto, Ontario M6P 3J8 Phone: 1.866.319.7450 Fax: 1.416.734.1754 E-mail: email@example.com
Tickets will be mailed by Canada Post to the address you provide online. Your ticket(s) will be mailed before the date of the first performance in question or, if there is not enough time for mailing, held for pick-up at the will-call counter before the performance. You may be asked to show identification.
4. MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATION
Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal reserves the right to modify performances if conditions do not allow their presentation as planned (this includes cast member changes). If a performance is cancelled, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal may, at its sole and exclusive discretion, offer you tickets for another performance in exchange. You are entirely responsible for verifying whether the event for which you have purchased a ticket or tickets through this website is cancelled or postponed. If an event is cancelled or postponed, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens will notify you via this website of the instructions and procedures for making an exchange or obtaining a refund. Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal may, at its sole and exclusive discretion, modify its exchange and/or refund policies at any time. Duplicate tickets: In case of lost or stolen subscription or group tickets, duplicate tickets may be issued. The duplicate tickets, not the originals, will be honoured in such cases.
5. CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO HALLS
LATECOMERS: All events start on time. Latecomers will be admitted only during a suitable break in the performance, at the discretion of the ushers or other employees of Place des Arts de Montréal. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF TWO : Although Les Grands Ballets does not advise parents taking very young children (under the age of 2) to its shows, it is understandable that, in some cases, their presence could be possible. For security reasons, tickets must be issued to all persons in the hall. The tickets must be purchased for children over the age of two (2). Children under the age of 2 are admitted to the shows free of charge as long as they remain seated on their parent’s lap at all times. Please note that the length and content of some of Les Grands Ballets’ performances may make them unfit for younger audiences. The darkness and loud noises could frighten some children. If such is the case, it will be mentioned on the company’s various communication mediums. RIGHT TO CANCEL TICKETS, REFUSE ACCESS AND EXPEL: Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal reserves the right to cancel any ticket(s) or ticket order(s) made through this website and to institute legal proceedings against you if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms and Conditions. Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and Place des Arts reserve the right to request photo ID from the ticket holder. In the event that any spectator is judged unmanageable, exhibits inappropriate behaviour or fails to comply with the rules, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal reserves the right, without any refund or compensation, to terminate such person's licence to attend the event and immediately expel him or her. Tickets purchased through this website are revocable licences, and admission to a ticket holder may be refused for any reason (or no reason) upon refunding of the face value of the ticket, at the sole discretion of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal or its employees, agents, officers or representatives. Tickets are not redeemable for cash. RECORDING, TRANSMISSION AND PUBLICATION: It is forbidden to photograph, film or record the performance, in whole or in part, or any areas of the venue. You hereby grant Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal the right to use your image, likeness, actions and statements in any transmission, publication or reproduction of the event in any means or circumstances, without further permission or compensation.
6. CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF TICKETS
Any unlawful resale of tickets is strictly prohibited. Tickets may not be used for any advertising and/or promotional purpose (including contests and sweepstakes) or resold without the prior written authorization of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal.
7. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Notwithstanding all security measures in place, injuries may occur during the event. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you assume all risk, liability and responsibility for any and all damages of any nature that you may suffer, including, without limitation, bodily harm and loss of property incurred during or in connection with the event. Furthermore, you hereby waive any and all rights to claim damages, monetary or otherwise, or to institute civil, criminal, administrative or legal proceedings against Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal or any other persons or entities acting on behalf of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, resulting from any cause whatsoever arising either before, during or after the event.
9. APPLICABLE LAWS AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION
The parties hereby agree that this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws applicable within the Province of Quebec in force at the time, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Furthermore, the parties hereby elect to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Quebec, in the Judicial District of Montreal, in respect of any action or proceeding arising out of or related to the Agreement. However, the foregoing clause is in force without prejudice to the rights of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal to obtain any protective proceeding such as an injunction from any competent court having jurisdiction.
