THE OPENING NIGHT BENEFIT-COCKTAIL:


A PREMIERE CELEBRATED IN GRAND STYLE

To highlight the Paris Opera Ballet coming to Montreal, an Opening Night Benefit-Cocktail was held on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 6 p.m. at Piano Nobile of Place des Arts, under the honorary presidency of Mr. Philippe Zeller, Ambassador of France in Canada, to which were invited Paquita’s sponsors, members of the Ambassador’s Circle, Friends of the Paris Opera Ballet under the aegis of the Consulate General of France in Quebec City and Montreal, representatives from the governments of Canada, Quebec, the City of Montreal and France, as well as Brigitte Lefèvre, Director of Dance at the Paris Opera, and the artistic team of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and medias.


Thanks to the support of our sponsors and partners, members of the Ambassador’s Circle and donors of the Paris Opera Ballet Friends in Quebec, over $565,000 were raised.
