Because ticket sales cover only 25% of our operating expenses, it is partly thanks to your donations that we can continue our quest for excellence. Your donations also help us develop educational and community programs, and reach out to audiences, both in Montreal and abroad. 1. Develop the art of ballet by creating and performing new pieces

YOUR DONATIONS HELP US WITH VARIOUS PROJECTS A few examples of annual expenses incurred by Les Grands Ballets:

• $10,000 for the physiotherapy and Pilates services our dancers need
• $150,000 for custom pointe shoes
• $120,000 for costumes and maintenance for The Nutcracker
• $100,000 to $500,000 on average to create a new work
